Ummm, eh? Why would they ride your bike?

I think Mark told me he paid 200 squid for his 021's. If you tell Gary (G&S) that you were recommended by me he might give you discount. Worth the try.

I obviously wrongly assumed they came to your house, rode the bike to the shop, fitted the tyres, and then rode it back again.

Umm. nope. He has a big van and fits 'em while you wait. Bloody nice chap too and a pretty handy track rider.

All sorted now.

021's fitted and what a difference it makes. Not really put them through their paces yet for obvious reasons. I cant believe how much better the bike feels without square tyres - leaning in to corners is so much easier.

remember it takes 100 or so miles to scrub them in properly so dont go pushing it to hard to soon.

Rubbish.

It takes one heat cycle to scrub them in. If you fit a new set of tyres at a track, do you see people doing 50 laps to scrub them in before going balls out?

I think the 100 miles is just to make sure the tyre is seated properly on the wheel but as ogden says, 100 miles is stupid. I do 1 mile and then off we go.
