I'm very tempted by these for my thou. Not sure about longevity compared to pr2's. I presume they'll be as good as pr2's in the dry too? Did the bike mag review say anything about dry weather performance? Not that I'll ever get near the limit if a tyres performance!

No, as it was pee'ing down when they tested them they didn't have time to test them dry.

+1...would be good to know how they are in the dry.

I must admit thats three days of commuting in the rain and they are fantastic. I think I'll have to wait a while for a dry road to test them on.
Where was that from if you don't mind me asking?

Aha, I need a front for my pointy this month. I reckon it'd be OK to run a PR2 at the back and a PR3 at the front. Unless told otherwise.....

tested in the dry in the lastest bike mag. Basically there not quire as good as the top of the range sports touring rubber in the dry but there not bad either. they seem to think 5k out of a set is possible and that the advantages of the wet weather grip far outweigh any loss of warm weather performance.

I'm thinking of replacing my stock D220's. so any dry weather improvement is a bonus.

Has anyone got a scan of the review of the dry weather performance?

Is anyone running the PR3s? How are they wearing? What are they like in the real world - magazine tests are all very well but do not really reflect the real world use of most tyres.
