Well the north of the country generally gets more rainfall hence theyre rarely likely to get a ban or drought notice.

Not much you can really do if the natural levels are low and people dont conserve water. Other than build pipes to ship it down from the north. But not particularly environmentally friendly or useful if they should be sorting out the wastage on leaks before building more infrastructure tbh.
Having lived in the north for the best part of 35 years i'm aware of the rainfall just think there should be some way of pumping some of the excessive amounts they have up there down here were we need it most thats all

Well funnily enough I dont want to drink salt water. In case you havent worked out, drinking water isnt the same as sea, salt water. :P

I know that! I aint stupid!
Hi LynW! How you doing?!

But just think,if they added Vinegar to the sea water,we could have it on our Fish 'n' Chips!!!! (Along with the sewage, and other filth!)

It's maddening that so much is lost in leaky pipes. But nobody bothers to conserve water, we all take it for granted, me as much as the next person, flush the loo any number of times a day, put the washing machine on, have a bath, etc.

Hands up who leaves the tap on when brushing their teeth

You know, that last bit comes under least surprising statement of the year.

I hate McDonalds - avoid them like the plague unless its really hot and temptation for a McFlurry is overwhelming. Only thing I eat there, and so far managed to avoid them for at least 3 years.

Or its a Sunday bank holiday and theyre about the only places open with relatively clean loos. :P
