Yup, clutch hand hurt a bit afterwards but it was far more fun than I imagined. And only one van tried to cut me up.

I'd be up for that, the 205/406 route obviously.

Ha, ha! That'd p1$$ off a few folk! Reckon it'd be great fun if we spaced the bikes out enough too. Fantastic night out. We could bookout one of the easyHotel's. I'll vote for it

I have a route

Its part scenic tour driven, with Park Lane (thats a 40mph zone), Buckingham Palace, London Bridge, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the O2 and the Olympic Park all on it.

Its "oh my ears will bleed", with the Rothherhithe, Limehouse Link, Blackwall Tunnel AND the Dartford Tunnel all in there - imagine 50 SV's in a tunnel, all in 1st, all revving as hardas they can

Its practical - the Ace for Breakfast, and even goes past Essential Rubber in case someone has tyre problems.

Then a fast sprint back to The Ace.

Heres the route

Hmm, not sure about the entire North Circular, but a rideout round Essex, with a quick jolly in London to play with traffic, sightsee and do the tunnels for those that are up for it, could be a laugh!

Is this something that I could do easily enough without a sat-nav by just picking up road signs etc? Is this suicide to try with panniers as I've never really been through London before? And, I am right in assuming that I wouldn't have to pay the congestion charge on the bike?

If anyone can help with these questions it would be very helpful.

Thanks.

Thats seems a fairly sensible route. Be caureful

Sorted that out and added London Wall and the Barbican as well as St Pauls and Frith St to the route

Theres a Travelodge within walking distance of The Ace.

So stay at the Travelodge, use the Ace for food and drink, and we have a route - I think we have a winner
