Sound good. So you going to go for it then Bri?

52 is no way being past it in the jobs market IMO, that's 14 years of the benefit of somebody elses 35 years experience! How many company directors do you see in large organisations that are under 45-50 years of age? How many CEO's do you see that are under 50-55? A few, but not the majority.

I intend to express interest, and ask for a detailed spec. I also want to ask them how much freedom they would give me to create the structure I feel has lead to so much success where I currently work.

my current boss bought into what I wanted to achieve. and subsequently the structure I created has gone global. The loss of a supportive boss, who allows me so much freedom would be hard but I am getting bored.

The opportunity to move into what would be the equivalent position of my boss, with the chance of developing others and the power to really drive things is exciting.

and I guess a pay rise would be nice but it isn't the be all for me.
