I've done it in the UK, after a trip to Europe.

I did that after driving in the US - I turned onto a dual carriageway in the wrong direction. Luckily (this was 25 years ago) it was just grass to cross back.

Crappy quality video of the incident (£10 Chinese dashcam).

The 2ft wall on the right has a 100ft drop to the river Afon Glaslyn on the other side.

Rear camera view showing the flip better.

For £10 it's not bad, an YouTube always compresses it which doesn't help the final viewing quality.

Still it shows who's at fault here, should make processing your claim a bit easier.

I could barely bring myself to watch them, knowing what was coming.
Still as Mav says, there's no room to dispute who is at fault there.

How are the aches and bruises today?

Confirmed broken elbow. Walking is becoming easier the 1000mg of codeine is helping.

My memory of the event is I had lots more time, I guess that's the effect of adrenaline.

Ouch, sorry to hear about the elbow, but looking at the videos you did an excellent job of damage limitation, it could've been much worse. And as you say, it happened VERY quickly.

What dashcam do you use, and where is it mounted please? It's decent quality for a tenner, at that price it seems daft to not have one ....

Remains of front camera can be seen above headlight. Rear one above the reg plate.

Blimey, broken elbow doesn't sound good! Have they plastered your arm then?

The wonders of the nhs means that I have a virtual appointment tomorrow, they will assess the x-rays and decide if I need pot or not. I'm guessing it'll just be a sling job.
