Another one for white dalton - with their advice I pushed the third party (and my own solicitor) to go for 66/33 instead of 50/50. If I;d gone with them from the start and not let my own solicitors balls it up I would have got the third party to take 100% liability.

Legal expenses cover is a bit of a rip-off. You can take this out AFTER the accident for the same price - all it is is a no win no fee insurance. You may find that your home insurance also covers this for free. Failing all of that you can go for one of the no win no fee people who will pay the lot, though will take their cut from the third party if they win. For the £20 or so it's better to just take out the insurance yourself and cut them out.

Talk to white dalton, they'll explain/assist with taking out the no win no fee policy to cover their work, and you don't have to pay for their time on your case (they claim it from the third party - another incentive for the third party not to muck about and take months to resolve things!)

Your old bikes ok, its being sorted now only cosmetic damage.
Its up to 15000miles now and I'm hoping to get a run up to scotland on it later this year.

Hows you and what bike you on ?
