![]() Ah here! No need for the digs there boss. ![]() I thought you were off to Belize Raz? Oh yeah. The point of the post. I have lived about a bit. Liked Norway. And Copenhagen. Not all of Denmark though, although I was only really visiting there. Germany meh. No thanks. UK yucky.. only joking. Oops. Touchy. Emm US... I dunno. Like my friend said, if I wanted to live in a fascist state I would have started my own. Ireland; (obviously) deeeeeeeeeeeadly, rapid and bleeedin gift. In that order. Never been to Kiwi land, or Oz. It is fierce far away though. Fierce far away. Like NYC (where I am now) is pretty far, but, jaysus, NZ... it is far. So, yeah. Its a mystery. I am a very whiney liberal commie type though. Seeing faults with all manner of places. |

Been looking at jobs in sydney for the girlfriend and I, we are never likely to get are asses in gear unless something pretty major happened at home though
![]() Turns out that both our professions are reasonably well paid out there in terms of $$$ to £££ so it would be possible to upsticks. |

You (like me) are lucky in the sense that your girlfriend can and wants to do the same thing. Since we aren't really tied down at the moment - no kids, house etc, it's really easy to do this now. I didn't go because I was hacked off with the UK. I went because I relatively young and want to see a lot of the world before I settle down. I consider myself very lucky to be in a position to do this. I would go for it. Like I said before if you don't like it then you can always go home, but if you don't do it then you will probably always be wondering! |

![]() Although strictly speaking it wouldnt be a bad time to sell and invest the money from the house whilst traveling and working overseas. Its jumping in feat first and getting my **** in gear to take the risk thats the hard bit. |

Yep - The service standards are pretty good in the US in comparison with the UK - where its so hard to find its almost a revalation when you get it.
