I understand, I was upset for weeks when our family pet, a cat named Sooty, died. My mum was pretty upset too. I think everyone was, even my dad might have been (although he was pleased he didnt have to do litter tray duties anymore)

Aww bless I remember feeling a teensy bit guilty that I cried floods of tears when my golden retriever died but not a drop when my great grandad passed on. In many ways I think losing a pet is worse, you kind of expect humans to pass on but you somehow never really think it'll happen to a pet.
