Gloves, waterproofs, backpack containing uni folders, books, lunch, water

And when I'm at uni, I leave my helmet, gloves and backprotector in the topbox, locked up, safe, dry

Topboxes are great

I could, and I do have one (an alpinestars one!) but when I've filled it with everything (folders, books, lunch etc) its heavy, and not very good for my back and shoulders when riding. Sling it on the topbox, and I am free to control the bike and not get tired and achey Having the topbox also leaves me with a safe place to store my gear when I'm not on the bike, that way I'm not paranoid about peopple knocking into my helmet since I'm not having to carry it about

Makes life easier

Oh yea, about safety...I wouldnt like to come off and have the bag break my fall, could end up with a nasty injury even thought I do wear a back protector.
