Own an SV...but question about a Bandit...

Change the oil, my gears were popping out frequently just before my last change.

Thanks a ton for all the info...I'm starting to think maybe I should back out of the deal...especially since I haven't been able to find a replacement engine/tranny anywhere near me or on ebay...

The bike was dropped three times with fairly substantial damage (deep gouges on cover and broken plastic and the such...still hard to pass up for a few hundred bucks.
