What is mulled wine? I probably wouldnt like it, but then I dont like most alcoholic drinks

You can buy bottles of ready mulled wine in Tesco, that you just need to heat up.

Mulled wine is just hot red wine with spices (usually cinnamon and cloves) added. You can also put in fruit, brandy and sugar.

If you google for 'mulled wine', you'll find a lot of recipes, like this one:

We don't use a recipe, we just bung everything in the pan and heat it. Don't let it get too hot or the alcohol will evaporate. I usually keep the lid on the pan so that the alcohol can't escape.

It's great with mince pies.

you've got to make it, the bought stuff just isn't the same. Don't heat it up too much though, the alcohol all evaporates!

I guess a temp below 70 deg.C...the alcohol evaporates out at prob 80 deg.C? I'll shut up now, since there is a huge discussion imminent about mixed solvents and boiling points
