Don't use the ACF50 its not what its meant for.
IMHO do what I did just use a bit of kitchen roll and mop up any dampness on the plug and the HT lead cap.

i changed the plugs in mine, so its quite easy, providing you have the right plug spanner, if you get stuck i could come and take a look,

i'll drop down if you want a hand. Got a few Deep reach sockets which seem to do the job on spark plugs. If you want a lend of tools or some WD40 i'm free tomorrow if you want a hand. Have you got a haynes manual or a laptop which you could acquire on one?

While you're at it, look at the RHS of the cylinder head, theres a small hole, stick the straw from a WD40 can up there and give a good squirt to clear the drain hole out.
This can also be used to dry it in an emergency, the mini-cans of WD are a good buy as they fit under the seat.

I'm also around and happy to help if need be. Much easier when you have everything in front of you - rather than how it sounds in text.

Don;t think any earlier posts have mentioned this.
The fairing is attatched to the rad, you can remove them or pop them out of the mounting rubber on the rad, this gives you clearance to move the rad forward and get to the plug.
