It's a real bugger to get the drivers to work, worth it though, I wouldn't want vista on anything of mine.

There's still a lot of older hardware and software that's either not Vista compatible, or runs very badly with it... And no wonder, companies want to sell new software and hardware, not spend money making old stuff they've already sold work. It seems to me that most people who say "Vista works with everything" are using fairly modern PCs, and software and components that are still "current", but I don't think most home users are like that, we tend to stick with what works.
