There's a pretty good case for going down to a 150 on a standard SV, mind
![]() I'm not sure exactly what's involved for the injected SV- they both use the same rear wheel so it'll be doable I'm sure, but I'd need to borrow one to know for sure. Whether I can make another set... Well, that depends on whether I can make one for me ![]() I plan to do it a wee bit different to how it's done in the Billy/Plowsiemobile, which used the standard bandit spacers and bearings with an extra steel spacer. Quite inelegant and weighty, plus it'd take me forever with my hardware. So I figure on basiaclly replicating the stock setup using SV bearings and a new central spacer, plus a modified SV sprocket carrier spacer should work I think. Worth mentioning that the 2 SVs use a different axle size, if memory serves, so it could be that the whole process works out different for the injected model. I'm sure it can be done though.

Ok,
No worries about spacers, if anything I can buy them from Twin Works, I prob won't do it for a while yet, so if you get lucky with your machining and feel like making some extra ones for a bit of dosh, then give me a shout! So I guess the last thing I need to know is what exactly needs to be machined down, you mentioned the calliper hanger...whats that exactly?? cheers |

Well, I think Twin Works does them
![]() THe caliper hanger is the bit of ally that the caliper bolts to, sits between the swingarm and caliper. On your bike it's not so much a hanger as it goes up not down ![]()
