You'd be suprised what insurance people miss, they managed to miss a complete body kit on my old car (bearing in mind there wasn't 1 standard panel or even any locks or handles!)

Yes, but if they want to get out of paying then they can be completely anal about it.

Y-K3 750 forks look right with the silver, but you don't get radial calipers... I replaced mine with K4-k5 which are horrible gold, they're good forks and great brakes but the silver was so much more fitting.
I wonder how much it would cost to re-anodise a set of fork uppers? I did have the thought that maybe I could use my K2 fork uppers with the K4 lowers, but no.

Has anyone made gsxr forks fit sv yokes? I can't imagine they'd be much larger, not sure how brakes etc would work though.

Not going to happen with standard yokes.
I'm not expert on conversions but AFAIK the bearings are the same for pointies, you can drop the gixxer stem straight in.

Correct, it's a very simple and straightforward swap just as long as you source the correct parts. It's best to source all your parts from the same model to avoid compatibility issues.

Whats the size difference in the yokes? Surely you could bore the sv ones out to take the Gsxr ones?

What's the point when you can pick up a second hand one for £50 then sell yours to recoup ,ost of the outlay.
