that would be one of my top choices as well - the trips are very reasonably priced too

I just came back from Cuba on a package holiday in a hotel resort. We only spent 2 days in the resort doing nothing to chill - rest of the week was spent on tours.

I would highly recommend Havana as it is a big town with a lot of things to see. You can get a hotel in the city (got a few names) and you can spend the rest of the time visiting little museums etc and also rent a car and drive anywhere else you like as it is a big island!!

Also value for money is great!! or at least that's what I thought

Northern Ireland is simply fantastic. Belfast is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Europe. Much nicer than Dublin. But the ferry is pricey and you can't rely on good weather.

Otherwise - Malta?

True. Flights are v cheap though. NI coastline is stunning too, even in rubbish weather.

ha ha ha pmsl..... well done Stewie. Not a bad idea You could both stay at mine tho obv the B and B rates would have to go up now we`re all cultured!!! You could visit Knowsley Safari Park and if you want some real adventure just park your car up and go for a walk in the lion compound. We`ve 2 cathedrals and lots of historic buildings for you to admire. You could do the real tourist thing and go and take photo`s of the Iron Men on the beach. Lots to do here like........ erm, !!! hmmmm will get back to you on that

Yup, not fogetting all those theatres, pubs, bars, clubs, shops, museums, and you can even "ferry 'cross the mersey" and take in the splendour of one of the most recognised (and stunning) skylines in the world

Right, just off to e-mail my CV to the Tourist Information Board

If they want further adventure never mind "ferry" across the Mersey, they could tie a rope behind it and water ski across!!!!

Hey you forgot to mention our art gallery`s!!! we have the Tate and they do very nice carrot cake there

Corsica? Fly direct, fly or just ride/drive to Nice and nip across on a frequent daily ferry.
