Yup, price is very high.

Front forks will start to corrode after a while, as will a lot of bolts, but thats just the budget part showing through.

My SV (K2, practically same bike) has 29k odd and had an engine replaced (my bad) and it still rides fine. Slight corrosion, but i used it every day, every whether, and they lay salt on the roads here like the clouds of rain line england Oh, check the oil before 4000k services, I always found at about 3000-3500 miles the oil level would start dropping (hence engine swap ).

Great little bike, expect about 130-170 miles to the tank depending how much you gun it.

Whatever though, anything you want to know, ask on here. Had some great help from this lot when doing bits n bobs on it.

Oh, take care of the front brakes as they clog up easily, nothing some grease and gental cleaning of the brake pistons wont ever sort out though.

Top tip - its a budget suzuki, when it gets dirty/salty, give it a good rinse down in cold water and it'll last much better.

Again, thanks for all the comments. I think a lively, enthusiastic forum has got to be a good sign.

Point taken, the one I was looking at is overpriced so I'll have a good look around and see what comes up.

Thanks for the links to bikes for sale around here. They look interesting but are all too far away from me. But I'll keep an eye on the sale bikes on here.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Only other question. Are there any details on the board here on differences in models by year?

Cheers
