When I say novice I mean intermediate big traillie, or novice if you are on something small and going to give it a go, if you see what I mean.
I'll see what Timpo has to say about novices. Youre not one anyway, K. |

I'll probably have to wait a bit until the recce runs are done to tell anyway quite how hard it will be. There's usually stuff for novices. I'm not sure from what I have seen but Its got a few months to pan out yet and conditions have been poor.

I would like to go on this, I'd have to get my bike over there though as I don't think I'd like to ride all the way on a DRZ with knobblies etc. I'll look into the cost of a van and time off etc

Unfortunately the organiser of the camping and the trail rides has now closed the event to attendees. However see what I write at the end. LP, if you get that DRZ I am sure we can sort something as you have helped me out and are so local.
This is because at least some of the riding looks technical so he wants firm numbers for each ride and not to be overwhelmed*. Also a nearby campsite is proving elusive and numbers are limited at the pub. We have been surprised each time. The 1st AdvRider rally was really to persuade my mates who I rode with in Italy to take me out ![]() SO WHAT I WAS THINKING OF DOING..... is to get a get together at some later point in the spring, or perhaps summer or at latest September for a more novice to intermediate type event on easier trails to suit a range of bikes, with maybe some tricky stuff for those on pogos. So the type of stuff a big traillies will easily cope with and a DRZ will be a lot of fun on etc. I will make sure I let folks here know first ![]() ![]() In the meantime if anyone fancies coming over to Wales when we get going in spring PM me and I will let you know if any trips are on the cards. |

Will do. I have a really nice route in my head out of Rhayader which has a nice campsite with no cap on numbers etc,a nd the route is real mixed with some ride-arounds of tricky stuff (which suits me
![]() Thinking about it I also know a good one from Stow down to Bath as well which some could reach in a day easily. I will get this April one out the way and get my thinking cap on. |
