I think my dad paid ?300 for a towbar to be fitted to his 407 Estate, that was by the main dealer and for twin electrics etc. No idea on weight it can take but I'm 85kg and it can take me jumping up and down on it no problems at all without even a bend or creak. I guess it depends on whether it is bolted to the frame of the car or the chassis, If its bolted to the chassis it should beable to take any weight until the suspension on the car breaks. My dad has a towbar fitted on all his cars and generally it costs between ?200 - ?300. |
