Err wrong

If you can drive down the lane (dead end or not) then you should be indicating right for the 1st and 2nd junctions, changing to left indicator as you pass the 2nd junction

As for which lane to be in, I would probably be in the right lane as going more than half way round

This is correct.

A life saver check to the left should be completed just before your passing the 2nd no through road junction. You should then move to the left side of the road with your left indicator on.

In answer to the question regarding if it is a dual carriageway. Technically you can enter that lane from the right hand side of the roundabout. However, this is absolutely asking for trouble and when instructing, always advised against it. It'll take you a nano second to pull into lane two once your on the dual carriageway so why take the risk?

Roundabouts are really simple to negotiate. The rules are quite clear. It only goes wrong when people don't know the rules and end up in the wrong lane doing the wrong thing. Then it's an accident waiting to happen.

If you were on your test and the examiner tells you follow the road ahead it's the second exit (this exit is just passed 12 o'clock and there no more working exits) if you then used the RHS lane you would get a serious for positioning. Legally going ahead will always be left lane unless the RA has 2 lanes on exit ie dual carriageway

But lets not forget we are not talking about driving a car here, i normally position at the front of the ques between the lanes and tend to overtake or get onto RA before anyone else, after all who rides at 70m/h? let alone use lane disciplines on RA's. don't lie

I wasn't necessarily relating the dual carriageway rule to this instance. Hence why I put that bit in after answering the question, but I understand what you mean.
