Range Rover (proper one, not a nancy-boy footballer's wife Sport) Autobiography Supercharged. With an LPG conversion.

You know I can't be bothered with cars in the city long as it goes and its cheap that all that matters, I have driven less than 2000 miles in a car since June last year. I don't need a car for work either so I don't have a need or want for a nice car it would just sit there.

In contrast I have rode over 5000 miles on motorbikes so I would rather spend my money there.

Long wheelbase Hi-roofed Mercedes Sprinter van. Kitted out inside with a double bed above the bike storage and spannering area, a fold down workbench, toolchest and storage compartments for spares, lubes and fuel etc. In the living area, a sink, cooker and fridge. The usual 240V hook-up and tv/dvd combination for evening entertainment. The ideal trackbike transporter.

I saw something similar based on a R regd Transit Hi-Cube a month or so ago, it sold for ?2500

That's what I'd like as a practical van, but I already own my ideal practical car - a 200 quid 1995 Nissan Micra 1.0 litre. It goes, stops, handles, is 100% reliable, costs sod all to run and is used purely to cart bike parts around when needed. I don't give a monkey's about cars, they bore me, so I won't spend big bucks on something I rarely use and don't care about.

I'm not bothered. So long as it has 4 wheels an engine and most importantly somewhere to carry what ever it is that I need to carry that wont fit on the bike.

I may get flamed for this but I've always wanted a Volvo 850R estate or even a T5 as a practical car or a caterham as a not so practical car

Got mine already - my '78 MG B GT, 1.8 (with overdrive), black leather interior, burgundy red exterior...

... with a towbar.

I'd swap the Astra VXR for an Astra 888.

Very nearly the same performance, but with 40+mpg. Still does 150, just you can't see anything behined you for the soot. 1.9tdi engine.

New exhaust, another remap, panel filter say hello to 350lb ft torque and 220bhp ish.

Comes with 4 pots etc as well.

Or, i want an Audi RS4 Sod fuel costs, let that engine rev, dribble. M3 V8 is for city ponces who want the badge

+1. Or I'd like a top of the line Mitsubishi Evo.
