I'm not selling it - thought that For Sale was for private sales - this is just a bargain post. Possibly should be in the gear section, - but I do stand to be corrected

Dude your spitting hairs. Every single piece of motorcycle gear, whatever it is, could be put in the for sale section going by your reasoning.

For example

I have a pair of ear plugs for sale, I'll put them in the for sale section because I 'could' use them on an SV.
