Hi Jenny, hope everything is going well. Just food for thought: Maria's grandad had a triple bypass operation, far far far too long after his first heart attack (hurrah for his GP...not). Anywho, he survived that easy peasy and has recovered really well

So here's to your dad having a speedy recovery, which is likley if he's going through a third of the procedure of maria's grandad

Hey boys n girls, thanks for all the kind vibes

We were there with him last night and he came out the op with no problems. It was a double bypass he had in the end.

Jenny's on her way to see him this morning and they say that unless there are any complications they plan to keep him for 10-15 days and then he'll be fine to go home.

We're very lucky that the hospital is so close to my work and only minutes from Jenny's work too so it means we can pop in as often as he needs...tho why anyone would wanna see my ugly mug while they are trying to recover is beyond me

I'll show Jenny this thread tonight peeps as i know it'll mean a lot to her but since she didnt get in till about 2am last night i thought i'd let her rest, lol.

Excellent news Zig, my regards to Jenny & especially to her dad. My granddad had a triple bypass more than a decade ago, he is still going strong (far too strong for most of the family) after all this time albeit with some changes to his diet.
