At the moment I'm in training for car insurance, learning the product etc. I'll ask one of the trainers today about whether or not the claim should be registered. I would be tempted to say that there's an ongoing claim that has not yet been sorted- chances are, they'll say that it'll go down as a fault claim, but I know from working at the company (Saga) that the claims don't actually get listed on the policy until they're sorted.

back on track, I lost my no-claims for 2 years while the argument went back and fourth between insurance companies. Once fault was found then the no-claims discount was put bact on. |

haha, that's a fair point. I haven't dealt with any car insurance stuff so far but it is basically paying for nothing, unless you are actually over 50 it's not worth making a claim because you'd lose your NCD. Ridiculous.
Dan, in answer to your question, the trainer with the massive tits suggested that you stay with your current company, as the claim won't affect you there until it's all processed- it won't come up on the system. If you went to a new company, you would have to declare it as a fault claim, and your original company wouldn't really have any motivation to finish the claim. |
