I drive on country roads too and thats were ive gotten a few tank slappers accelerating hard out of bends, an im no rookie on a bike. where did you get the bearing to accomodate the SRAD forks and do you use the 4 pot calipers too.

It's the rear that's going to cause the problems, look at the TLS with that useless lump of rear damper.

Yes it's entire SRAD front end including wheel calipers and mudguard. Only SV bit you use is the tyre.
twinworksfactory is where you get the bearing.

Sounds pretty cool, What back shock do you have. I just wanna get mine set up properly for fast road use. Im totally new to the sv's. I race alot of 2 stroke motocross and evey road bike ive ever had was an inline 4. The v twin is a totally different driving experience. the back locks up fairly quick if i down shift too quickly. im gonna convert the front end using the gixxer parts and what about my back shock. some lads say the zx10 is totally not suited

I have a ohlins on the rear and ohlins in the front of SRAD 750 forks, never had a problem with accelerating hard (even on dips) out of corners with the 750, even with the extra torque. I most admit, she is well setup. Whats the point in power if you can't use it and go around corners properly!!! Bearings are from Twin Works Factory, they are US based but ship world wide. |

I would sort of agree with that. The point is to get any shock to work properly with the rider and bike requires a full setup by people like K-tech, so why not buy a shock that is designed to fit properly and work properly from the start???
JHS racing do some great Elka shocks! |

If I could afford I'd get the 600 SRAD forks and an ohlins or other shock revalved for me. But I can't. So I'd be interested in something better that can be bodged in

Can't speak for the ZX10R shock but you can get reasonable results with the 636 shocks, and I gather they're very similiar. Not an amazing swap but then it's very cheap.
Or, if you watch this space I ought to have either an Ohlins or a WP shock for sale in a month or two... Most likely the WP.
