Hi Lozzo,

At first we did consider riding overland from Malta but two things drove us from that conclusion. One is the limited amount of time we had for our travels, 15 days the most, and second was that we didn't want to blast over countries to get to England, it's not our idea of fun. We wanted to tour England as our objective so decided to rent bikes from London (cost us ?295 each for 12 days). That way we were fresh in England and could take things more leisurely. We chose SV's because we planned to meet you guys at ARO7 on proper bikes , shame we didn't make it blasted weather, but mostly because we had good knowledge of these bikes and didn't want to cope with surprises from fuel consumption or aching backs from having chosen an unfamiliar bike. We own the curvy models but found the rented pointies quite similar.

Tour of Malta and Gozo video
Well actually we're starting to shoot footage for that next Saturday, we're going to use a couple of Hyosung 125SM's for that though so we could go into some of the rougher stuff. The island looks quite pretty at the moment after we had some rain and the fields are greener. The sun maybe nice for you guys for holidays but it does tend to dry everything up which makes for a dry looking place. Not so nice.
