So actually the HEL lines are cheaper and better according to you guys?
The current is taking me to HEL race black coated at the moment if nothing sways me in another direction by tomorrow. I'll wait till then to order. Saying all that, I'm not totally convinced Race are neater than stock. Seeing dangly brake lines on friend's bikes don't help either, and these are of the race variety. Have you got any pictures to prove otherwise?

I bought a set of three (front 2-line and rear) black covered HEL lines with SS fittings and banjos off ebay for 50 quid. Lissa pointed them out to me when I was looking for some. They came with everything needed to do the job and were perfect lengths

Cheaper yes, but the quality and performance are the same.

Thanks Lozzo, Lizza for the link. Seems the way to go. I'll give it one more day and order than. No hurry really but I'd like stronger brakes so will overhaul soon and replace hoses with these beauties. Don't know if I should replace anything else? Piston housing rubbers maybe? Last time I checked all seemed in good nick.

check and make sure the banjo bolts has the correct thread pitch before taking your old lines off!!

I found out the hard way after bleeding my brakes and taking off all the lines, only to find out the banjo bolt for a curvy cylinder assembly has a fine thread pitch and goodridge has sent me one with standard thread pitch

Based on known customer service I would go for HEL, I've had goodridge and they are fine, but just bought a second hand SV and the HEL lines were had got water behind the clear sleeve.

E-mailed HEL to check all would still be OK and was told they would replace them FOC as they still have their lifetime warranty (even though I didn't purchase them). Anyway I now have a set of new yellow lines sitting on my desk and I only e-mailed last Wed.

So if anyone wants a set of lines for the curvey, that need to be re sleeved, be my guest.
