Do something completely different Mel but go on the bike, you know like others have said, Glide, Surf (Mel in a wetsuit niiiiice), Rock climbing, kayaking. You know, something you may not expect yourself wanting to do before.

Mike could teach you how to Kayak

Ok. So not quite what I originally had in mind.

And not on the bike.

On a camel.

In the Sahara.

I probably won't notice the difference anyway. I'm that slow on the bike.

Fingers crossed I can get my visa on time. . . .

I had my first holiday on my own in Tunisia only two years ago I found it realy stressful getting there but once there I had a fantastic time made some realy good friends who will always be realy very dear to me. camel riding in the sahara was also one of the things I did a trip to El Jem and the Atlas mountain mountains its fantastic. go to the travel agents take a deep breath and book something you fancy it will be fine. Your a sexy sassy girl enjoy life. we only do it once. I've only met you briefly on the nw3, you have lot going for you have confidence.Just it enjoy life x

Any ideas?
Somewhere with 24 hour drinking? And see if you can go for 24/7. Fill up a week nicely

I only ever managed 24/5 myself - but that was abroad and a longgggg time ago

Yep, I'm looking forward to this. I'll be trekking into the Atlas mountains as well. .

Confidence is a funny thing. Easily knocked. I'm sure I'll find it tucked away in the sand dunes of the Sahara.

An action holiday or, a think and relax holiday.

I would recommend hiring a static caravan here:-

http://www.fonab.dsl.pipex.com/index2.htm

The statics are lovely inside, cheap to hire and are in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK.

There is so much to do from there as a base.....

Go for walks
Climb a mountain
Canyoning
Rafting
Visit castles
Blair athol Palace spa and health place
Just rent a push bike
Drive/ride and explore the amazing roads, rivers and scenary

One recommendation i make to anyone in that area is a drive up 'Ben Lawes'........Most importantly the route from the A827 to 'The Bridge of Baglie'......There is an amazing Cafe at the bridge in the middle of no where, they see maybe 10 people a day, you rarely pass another car, the road up is just amazing and follows an equally amazing river. At the bridge if you turn left you can drive a single track to 'Loch Lyon', this road is equally amazing and when you get there, its the quietest place i have ever been. The road is supposed to be a dead end but you can follow a moutain rescue road/Oil pipeline service road that isnt on the map to Kenock, which ultimately leads to Killin. I go here every year, my girlfriend was annoyed the first time i said I wanted to go here, she loved it and was equally sat quite and amazed by the end of it.

You cant really describe this route and do it justice.

Thats my recommendation anyway if you want a relaxing yet awe inspiring holiday, i will be doing it again this year.
This looks nice but it says 'No Motorcycles'
