The original '92 model or the '04 model are the best looking I think, the current blade looks better in the flesh but its still butt ugly!!!

I think it's stunning, far better than the horrendous "triangle face" of recent years. The 954 was the ugliest litre bike ever made, until this year's ZX10R raised the stakes with it's "drawn by a child" design manifesto.
The tail thing is a legal requirement in some countries, you can't have the wheel be the furthest thing back so they add a ridiculous gantry to the rear (and make it easy to remove!). And though I'd change the exhaust anyway as a matter of principle, it's not too shabby as it comes, certainly nicer than the Ninja and GSXR. R1 obviously remains very pretty though, best rear end ever. Honestly, I reckon if it was a KTM the entire bike press would be endlessly wetting themselves over it... Also, there's a touch of carbed SV about the nosecone ![]()

No. Not at all - I'll stick with both backside and boobies that gravity haven't noticed yet...
... oh - do you mean jealous about the bike?! ![]() Again, nah - I'll still with my curvaceous plus-sized '98 Blade ta very much. Sexier, meaner, wider... makes you feel like there's actually a bike there rather than a flimsy collection of plastic and metal with a rather large engine. ![]() |
