Highly modded bikes like this should never be sold & inflicted on someone else. They are too personal.
Or at least Instead of being sold at a premium, they should be discounted.

Indeed it could like you say. Could have been a improved TLR. Give it the TLR's engine about 125-130BHP at rear wheel all the gixer bits and boy it would have been a corker.

As it is its a nice bike but I wasn't too impressed with the one I rode... though I dont think it was very well sorted... like being on a undampened spring

I quite like the green, just not all the rest of the airbrushed cr*p...and the wheels being green is maybe a little OTT.

Hmm fully understand what your saying..but on the other hand when(no time soon)i come to sell mine which is well modded,i would think the person who buys it would buy it because they have a similar personal taste to me.

(No sarky comments please)

I thought all registration plates were '1 of a kind'. Kind of the whole point

With this K5 with the extra kit at ?3500 I think the asking price is far too high on the (yuk) green one:

Totally deserved in my opinion. I rode a near new example of a TLS back in 1998. It belonged to a mate and we swopped bikes on a reasonably surfaced road. After 500 yards I stopped and demanded my own bike back because I'd spent 250 of those yards tankslapping every time I applied the power. He sold it after a month because it was just evil and he wasn't about to throw even more money at it trying to make it more stable.

Awful awful handling bikes that deserved every slating they got by the press - they just didn't work unless you weighed over 13 stone. Wonderful engine and a great concept, but seriously flawed suspension.
