OK, I've taped it up with gaffer tape.

Are these just push fit over a small ridge? SV Spares for one of these jobbies? Getting a new gear lever, wing mirror and clutch lever today, so will try and lump that in too.

Push fit? No I think they're swaged on and not seperable from the banjo fitting.

You'll have to undo the banjo-bolts at each end to replace it, it is also reccomended to replace the washers when you do this. (cheap enough)

Tip of the day... hang something heavy on the brake lever, that way while you're putting the other hose on, the fluid in the reservoir doesn't all leak out.

Osram H4 Nightbreakers on Ebay for ?20 a pair including delivery. Very good bulbs.

Send me a home address and I'll pop a standard brake line in the post for you. I have a couple of good ones here spare after fitting braided lines. They'll only end up in the bin.

It's the rear brake so hardly likely to result in instant splattery, biggest danger is total loss of fluid onto the tyre.

Anyway still change it.
