buy an arab scarf from an army surplus store or indeed an asian clothes shop. I have a rather superb purple one. Im indoors wears one too. Shove your hair in a pont tail. Make a triangle with said scarf, so pointy bit pointing down, place across face first, wrap round the back of neck and tie under your chin, make sure pony tail is wrapped underneath. Its worked for me for years and mine is quite long and fine....haven't lost it yet.
Or alternatively I've got a windproof bike tube thing, you pull it over your head, covering your nose and it keeps your hair in quite nicely...HTH I have to have something wrapping my hair up as its so fine and if its flapping around out of my helmet it get so knotted it breaks very easily and halves in width and length in one brush. My fella is the same, and hes not bald yet...lol

That's what my eldest daughter does with her hair when she's on her bike. It has the advantage of looking long and shaggy permed when she undoes it too, which really suits her. Caz's hair is half way down her back just past her shoulder blades.

I wear a bandana, but then I have long hair, so it doesn't look tragic when arriving at said destination. I did get one of those hair tie things - a bit of denim with poppers on, but it tends to fall out. Bit pants really.
The bandana and two plaits, keeps it all in check for me |

Plaits do tend to look good, epecially, as Luckypants says, with leathers. I tend to go for the dishevelled look, but have occasionally been known to plait my hair. I usually tuck it into a neck-tube to stop it getting too windswept and knotted. |
