He was being gentle/pulling away normally if they weren't brand new tyres. Weaving, slipping the clutch and too many revs on brand new tyres = bike on floor. But I agree, he wasn't being stupid, just not careful enough.

I think he revved the engine too much - it's got standard cans and it's a hand held video camera, it's not guaranteed the viewer will hear it. Added to the fact it's a litre bike and it's gonna have plenty of pull at low revs so requires a gentle touch.
However I already didn't like him cos of his leathers

Makes me laugh every time I see it. DAS (or equivalent) + more money than sense = disaster every time.

I love the colour coded Suzuki leathers in the original video. The
guy really takes his biking seriously. At the same time, I have to admit he didn't appear to do anything fundamentally wrong. Probably hit a slippery patch. |
