At least if the R6 forks are longer you have the option of how sharp you want the steering. Also I reckon the R6's are owned by less manic riders generally, so there is a better chance of getting a front end that hasn't wheelied to death. The option of using the OEM front wheel is good too especially if you have powdercoated wheels. Also the Yam brakes are probably considerd the best non Brembo brakes you can get.

Somebody from org buy this bike and then give us the full gen, please.

Wasn't there a mod to fit R6 internals knocking about?, surely this would be the easiest option, unless you particularly wanted the brake upgrade.

All the Suzuki front ends are too short.
Yes you have more of an option, but personally the SV handles so much better with shorter forks!!!

I think that'd be about ground clearance... Better to raise the rear than lower the front (that's why the US race guys all say Ohlins is too short, over there they like to have a very high rear end instead of lowering at the front)

There's a thread on SVRider for an R6 swap btw. But I'd still say to do SRAD 600 if you want RWU, for a similiar look and very simple fit. It's far easier to fit SRAD yokes than it is to machine out SV ones.
