Tell you what, gimi a lunch and i will take a video of my CBR and see if it sounds anything like that. Petevtwin650 told me that his SV sometimes did it. The noise dissapears after about 1-2000 ish revvs right?

The noise does not sound like a rattle more of a thump, it will try and record it on my phone but gods knows how i will post it on here

Well, it can be done by yourself but if you are not too mechanically minded then I'd recommend you get it done by a pro. I think CCT's can cost 30-50ish, then obv labour charges. It might not be that though...

You sure it is not just the v-twin grunt. That is quite normal...

no i am not sure, i have had a aprillia v twin before but not an SV, i will get a recording, watch this space
