I bought one of those Halford tents on a special deal, 2 sleeping bags, 2 bed rolls, 2 blankets and a pole tent, When I bought it I was at BSB in Snetterton and decided to stay over for an extra night. Still managed to get it all on the bike to come home though.
I think that with a big bag of bungees was less than 20 quid |

I got something very similar to this one for last year's AR. It's definitely NOT a 2 man tent, but it did fit me and my gear in comfortably for the weekend. I could just about lie totally stretched out in it too (I'm about 6'1"). Oh and it stood up to plenty of p***ed-up clambering in & out of it too. I'm planning on using it again this year cos it packs up nice & small.

My coleman is nice thank you very much. Its a 3 man and is so big *Holds out arms* and is smaller than a roll mat. Cost me £100 iirc. |

i got a 100 quid one from a shop on ebay for just £30
pretty much you get what you pay for, and most 1-3 man tents should be ok on a bike. i too adopt the fizz idea of taking the tent out of its bag and putting it in the tank bag Last edited by hovis; 17-06-08 at 12:51 PM. |

i find it best to fold up the tent, then if it wont fit in the tailpack, due to other stuff, i strap it to the top then put the rain cover over it ![]() |

I think I will go for this one http://www.winfieldsmegastore.com/in...+PERSON&level3=
Its a 3 man tent but its water proof! Also the same pack size as the 2 man. Which I think is a great idea, it doesn't cost too much either. I have some gear at at parents house somewhere which I'll dig out. I have sleeping bag and roll mat so don't need much apart from that! I also just realised I haven't ate really anything since Saturday opps, so I better go fox something to eat, I'm a little hungry now. |
