My lad had to have his Jack Russel put down a couple of weeks ago. It was only 6 months old but had become part of his family in that time. He was heartbroken. He spent 3 days watching its back legs size up and at first rejected the vets advice but realised it was the kindest thing for a suffering dog.

Seeing what he went through, remembering taking my own Afghan for that final ride in the car, sort of makes me empathise.


Dogs rock, My lad got a Patterdale 3 weeks ago to replace Bailey. He may be gone but never forgotten.

It's horrible to lose a pet suddenly like that. They're so much part of the family. Big hugs for you.
