Was it the K3 that gained a reputation for crank problems?
Best get a curvy and save your money.

not really sure what I'm planning to do with it yet. I do just over 2500 miles a month with my commute to the office 3 days a week, 12 months of the year, so it's going to rack up some miles. I'm looking for a low mileage model £2K (aren't we all??). With my mileage it's be worth nothing this time next year.

My old curvy had problems in wet weather, water getting in the works around the front cylinder in to the wiring under the tank. Fender Extender on the front, and a tube of silicone sealant made it a hell of a lot better though. The bugger also developed a coolant leak around the water pump housing.

Does anyone know of pointy's having similar problems? Hopefully I was unlucky with my curvy, I assume they are not all like that? Although the guys at my local Suzuki place said both of his Curvy's had the water pump problem.

Cheers guys...

Ahh £2k, can't let mine go for that ... oh well good luck on your search.

As for the rain issue, pointys also have that. I had a game with mine in the wet but nothing silicone and fender extender won't cure, same as your curvey.

The right bike will be out there somewhere.
