I beleive with the PC being an output modifier it shouldn't affect the map untill set up, so if anyone who knows about fuel injected bikes could enlighten me, will plugging one in change anything or what?

right........ bit of an update,

the valve was stuck half shut, this is why i thought it lost power, the guy has now put it fully open, and said its real fast, so im going to see what i think, but probaly remove the valve completely,as they are 230quid . and then fit the PC

Why hasn't he got it to move?

Take it out and clean the blade and spindle, if it then moves freely then the cables need oiling. Many bikes should cycle the valve when the ignition is switched on. Dunno about the 'blade though.

Half shut compared to fully open will give way more top end, think 600 peakiness with lots more hoof!
