May organise a little local rideout? There are some very fun ones around here.

Aye Howarth, Hebden is good but last time I tried that one they musta resurfaced it the day before as it was frighteningly bad loose chips.
You got Rishworth, over Blackstone Edge, down cragg vale oooo loads....I just don't get much opportunity to ride em.

Melody said the ride over Rishworth to Tod via blackstone was better than her trip over the cat n fiddle when she came over on wednesday

Me to mate, i need to get out and about on some of these roads and get to meet a few people.

I go to Big D's now and again and upto Riv barn at the weekends but it's late afternoon when i get there and there is not many bikes up there at that time.

Lets get together, meet at Big D's and then you can lead us around the best roads you know.

Why not come off m62 towards oldham/delph, left at delph towards huddersfield, (watch out for locals on this "TT" stretch), left at top where they hang glide off (or have an icecream) towards ripponden left again at barkisland church then first left again and into ripponden follow signs for Rochdale and rejoin that route? Nice scenery, plenty knee down (if thats your thing) and test your bottle/top speed (if thats also your thing!)on way down from ice cream spot.
