Hi folks,

Cheers for the responses. Seems that yes the wheel was, shall we say, a little bit out of line.

Never mind learn something new everyday. Took the bike to work this morning and it rides like a dream.

Happy days

To check the back whee;, ride along at a medium speed, close the throttle and take your hands off the bars. If teh back wheel is striaght in teh frame then it'll go more or less straight. If it consistently wanders to one side, that's the side where the adjuster is too tight i.e. spindle is further back on that side than the other. Doesn't matter if the forks are twisted for this test. Odds are they've just bggered up replacing the back wheel.
