Thanks for the welcome guys!
I also pass along the ring road every day on the way to work, and then cut up through Sherwood. Hopefully from next week i'll be on the bike

Some cracking roads around north Notts and up into Derbyshire. I love the idea of a rideout, but I would have to go last, you would all be waiting for me! However I have booked on a Bikesafe on the 11th Oct so watch out after that. lol Welcome to the new peeps to Notts, not a bad place really.

I've only just passed my test so i'm taking it really steady at the moment, but so far i'm loving the bike.
