Bikes on different 2nd hand markets cost different amounts, UK values don't apply unfortunately, 2nd hand 675s in Holland are 9-11k euro!

I'd learn how to muller the SV first, spend a couple of hundred euros on suspension, and wring its neck for a year, then you'll be gagging for a 675 and asking the .org will be pointless as by that stage the notes will have already left your hand!

The new ones are 11.500 euros.

maybe the addons are about 1k

If you can afford it and like it, then buy it

I don't really buy the "you can get more out of you SV...." line. They are two different motorcycles and shouldn't be viewed as a progression.

If you can get a test on this one, then see if you can at a Triumph dealer - At least then you know what to expect. I ride mine all the time and never get achy wrists - this is more a fault of the riders body position than the bike itself. They are awesome bikes and look great - I'm sure if you could get a test ride, you won't be disappointed!
