As above, go to a really good award winning tat guy. As an artist type person who has an eye for someone with a massive talent, you want to look at this guy
Bob Hoyle...someone I know rather a lot, and won a lot of stuff at tat shows too have a browse at some of his work, not all of it is good, but his faces are kewl, and he specialises in freehand stuff. I've watched many a friend being done there http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...ndID=195394585 but it takes months to get an appointment with him,

Like it's been said before, make sure you go to a decent artist who's work you have seen and just don't rush into it.
When i had mine done i took about 5-6 photo's in and between us we picked the one which would look the best. One option is going to a tattoo convention and checking out some of the work they are doing there and have a word with a few people and they will point you to a decent artist. Like i said don't rush into it, you will regret it if you do. |
