The closest has been when I was thinking of getting a bike again after a couple of years break - the other half was nervous about bikes, but the only thing he said was to ask me if I could finally get a mobile phone...
... just so I could call him if I was going to be late or just 'going out for a blat'. However, likewise I don't think I've ever stopped a partner of mine from doing anything they wanted to either. |
