Do you like Lewis Hamilton?

I saw something yesterday that made me wonder about him a bit. It was in a post race interview and he was asked about the result. His reply was something along the lines of "Yeah, err, congratulations to err, who won? Was it Sebastian?" It just came across, to me anyway, as a case of 'we didn't win, Ferarri didn't win so it's basically irrelevent'. Sounded a bit snobby.

I just hope it isn't a case of too much too young and he doesn't turn into another Schumacher.

err as i dont know him personally or never met him i dont count myself qualified to say if i like him or not!!

As a driver he's great. Lots of talent. Don't know him personally but he seems okay. I would expect most F1 drivers to be arrogant, it's part and parcel of the job and company they keep/compete with.

FWIW, I think Lewis H is okay. He's certainly livened up what had become a very dull processional sport. At least he's brave enough to try to overtake another driver on the track rather than just sit there and hope to do it during a pit-stop

He's also articulate...... not a single ummm, err or y'know

but i have never seen him being interveiwed, he seemed ok on top gear

What, it tells you that supremely competitive sportsmen(?) have no sympathy for a championship leader being penalised? The ex-drivers have been almost universal in their condemnation of the penalty.

For what it's worth, I think he's no more annoying than any other driven/focussed person. I will admit to being impressed by his behaviour at Silverstone; he was the only driver on the parade who wasn't hiding under an umbrella but was engaging with the fans (and a lot of them seem to have gone just to see him)
