What a way to make yourself sound like you don't have a clue about bikes, whilst attempting to convince people they should buy yours.
Stickered up standard bikes are like "max-powered", bodykitted, smoked-lensed, tinted windowed cars. Not the sort of thing I think is at all worthwhile. Why spend a penny on a TL without addressing the suspension issue?

Bloody hell that must be the first 2 stroke 1000CC ever!!!! Must have been a 1 off TL 2 stroke!

I'm dead curious how much it weighs. Not really the obvious choice for a mad lightening project but people do love their killer whales. I do like it, and I usually hate TLRs.

Is that the standard steering damper? And steel front subframe? If so, then I would like to put it to the floor that this man's sense of priorities is ****ed

If I owned a TLR in order of Mods:-

1) Rear shock - not as bad as the TLS but still not great
2) Forks sorted - They are sprung wrong and the dampening isnt so great
3) Change the back end. YUK!
4) Exhaust - at least end cans.
5) Better front brakes - the 6 piston stockers suck (from what I read...).

I think thats the main bits. After that look at taking some weight off if its easy?

Of course he did, we'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but as an opening paragraph in an ebay ad, it's an appalling error. Not the sort of thing that inspires confidence in his knowledge.

If you're on a weight loss mission then why have fairings?

The same 6 pots are used on some GSXR 750s, later bandit 12's the G, J & A1P model ZX6R as well as the ZX12 and ZX7. Having done a few miles with them and also the Tokico 4 pots I'd say the 6 pots feel nice and have plenty of power. If people don't maintain them they don't do well, there are 12 pistons to stick after all... They also wear, especially if you use pads with thin backing plates.

The main thing about the TLR is that it's heavy, this doesn't help the brakes out much.
