you'd need a standard autocom for each bike - about £80 currently, and then you could just use your mobile phones (leads are included), or get some pmr radios - £20 from Argos will do if you are only 100 yards apart, but good ones pass the £100 mark

In April paid £130 for my AVI Pros (1/2 price from Jersey) several dealers are doing specials on Autocom kit.

You can get the model below for £100 called the Active Plus then get a 2nd hand Kenwood TK3101 off eBay for around £50. With the extra cables (Radio permanent power lead, PTT (if you dont like VOX) and interface cable) budget around £170-£180 all in.

I have an Autocom myself and Im considering selling it. Ive used it twice in the whole time ive had it. Its the middle of the range one. There might be another going spare too as my Dads not used his either.

I think RiDE magazine this month still rates the plug in autocoms above the newer Bluetooth designs.

Ordered the Autocom 200 Duo from www.chainspeed.co.uk, spoke to Sam who waived the postage, so £100 delivered.

Shonadoll - check out the autocom website www.autocom.co.uk, there is a downloadable brochure that explains which kits do what and which bits you need for them. IIRC the Autocom 200 and 300 range will do bike-to-bike, but you'll need 2 x PMR walkie talkies (plus maybe some other bits and pieces) to go bike to bike.

Got the Autocom 200 Duo kit...fitted in about 30 mins (both lids)...absolutely fab...haven't tried the iPod at high speed yet, but rider-to-pillion is ace!

Yeah no problem, it would need a set of talkies to go bike to bike though.
