sorry to drege up an oldy but im thinking of doing this
a/ who are these poeple you lot refer to and where do i find them
b/ what sort of layout am i looking at
c/ i know it adds weight but how much performance will i actually lose

whats the differance if any from a rc30 and a nc30 as there's a nc30 on evil bay i could bid on

RC30 swingarm will take 180 section tyre, NC30 will take 150, maybe 160 section at a squeeze.

so apart from a rc30 rear swing arm what can be used (that dosnt take a phd to fit) triumph 955 maybe or something else

The big issue is whether the shock will line up and whether the exhaust will fit through the hole in the 'arm.

RC30 arm will cost a fortune, NC30 will be cheaper but smaller tyre. VFR750 might be cheap and also will probably fit the exhaust through the middle too (big tyre on these). I know this has been done!

Any arm will fit it's just a question of doing it without it costing the earth.

what about a trick double sided arm? RSV mille?
